Hicksville High School senior Melanie John has been selected for the New York State School Music Association All-State Women's Chorus, placing her among the top student vocalists in the state. Melanie will represent Hicksville Public Schools at the New York State School Music Association (NYSSMA) All-State Conference to be held this winter in Rochester, New York, and will perform with the All-State Women's Chorus during their annual winter concert.
