The Hicksville Middle School has built a quality reputation for providing a secure environment for a diverse population where individual worth is valued and quality education is achieved. At our school, which serves approximately 1200 students in grades six through eight, we are committed to providing quality educational opportunities for students and fostering individual growth.

Students in all grade levels are encouraged to become active participants in their learning, fostering respect for themselves and each other and developing the skills to become learners for life. Students are offered a wide variety of programs in addition to core curriculum courses. Opportunities for before- and after school-programs, clubs and sports are also available to all students.

The Middle School has a dedicated PTA that enhances the school's curriculum through innovative programs including the Reflections Contest, incentives for the New York State standardized testing and various fundraisers offering student scholarships.
