Secondary level students have a
range of opportunities through the Middle School Academic Enrichment Program and
the High School Mentorship Program. In addition, the district participates in
the Advanced Placement Program, giving students the opportunity to gain advanced
college standing. Honors classes in all academic areas are available beginning
in grade seven. Three Academic Enrichment Centers, available to high school
students, are open to students wishing to pursue independent study in the areas
of Math/Science, English/Social Studies, and Foreign Language. The centers are
equipped with enrichment and resource materials, and computer and audiovisual
technology.
