The Fourth Graders enjoyed learning about Colonial Times on their field
trip to Old Bethpage Village Restoration. In Social Studies, we are
learning about the Native Americans of New York. In Science, we are
learning about what causes the earth’s surface to change.
We are also working hard to prepare for the English Language Arts
Assessment which is scheduled for January. Children can prepare at home
by reading novels, picture books, and magazines. In Math, we are learning
about place value and elapsed time. Both of those topics can be very
challenging for our students but we are confident that they will master
the concepts.
We are looking forward to a great year!
