FIRST GRADE NEWS

Our First Grade is adjusting nicely to our new surroundings!  We are excited about learning to read and write.  Students are doing a wonderful job completing Sight Word Contracts, and Poetry Journals. 

It was a pleasure meeting families at Open House.  We learned to make an apple pie as a special treat for our visitors.

We are looking forward to our October Field trip to Schmitt’s Farm.  We will learn about how different kinds of plants grow on a farm.  We will each bring home our own pumpkin!
