Parent Resource Center

Hicksville Public Schools is proud to announce that we offer a Parent Resource Center for all families within our learning community. The purpose of our resource center is to build a partnership between home and school for the benefit of the children.

The Hicksville Public School District's Parent Resource Center was established to increase parent and community involvement in our school district and is available to any parent whose child attends any of our schools. Its major purpose is to strengthen communication with all parents about the education of their children and to involve them in ways that help boost student achievement and success.

The Center offers workshops or can be utilized as a location where parents can simply stop by for information or guidance in areas such as: testing skills, building self-esteem in children, college applications, motivating children, communicating with children and teachers, reinforcing academic skills at home and much more. Parents are encouraged to visit the resource center and discover what we have to offer. Individual requests for information is welcomed as we value the communication between parents and the school district for the benefit of our students.

The Hicksville Public School District's Parent Resource Center is located at Lee Avenue Elementary School, room 148. Parents simply sign in at the reception desk and proceed to the center anytime between the hours of 9:00 am to 1:00 pm Monday through Friday. For more information, call 516.733.6554
