Boys Varsity Soccer Concludes Successful Season

After graduating eleven seniors last year, the 2007 Hicksville High School Varsity Boys Comet Soccer team had a successful season finishing in third place with a Conference AA-1 record of 8-5-1, making it to the county semi-finals on November 2, 2007 at the Mitchell Athletic Complex in Uniondale. The Comets were ultimately defeated by Massapequa, the defending county champions.

Reflecting on the season, Coach Jack Fabrizio commented, "We initially considered this a rebuilding year, so we were very pleased with how the team came together. With four seniors who had varsity experience and a solid mixture of underclassmen, we were able to make an immediate impact on the field. The future of boys soccer looks bright here in Hicksville and we are all excited about next season."
