Adult Continuing Education
Hicksville Public Schools is pleased to offer an Adult Continuing Education program for district residents. Senior Citizens who are district residents enjoy free access to many courses. When a course is not free, district resident senior citizens pay a reduced fee. Non-Residents are welcome to attend our program for an additional $15.00 per course.
The Adult Continuing Education program offered by Hicksville Public Schools provides opportunities and activities to promote lifelong learning. You will discover opportunities to grow academically, personally and professionally. Consider coming out in the evening to enjoy the company of other adults as a community of learners exploring new interests and strengthening present ones. It is never too late to learn!
Please consider a course in decorative painting, film apreciation, scrap booking, learning Spanish, learning American Sign language, retirement planning, income and asset protection, card making, Notary Public Training, learning to play the guitar, and golf. These are just a few of the courses offered through Adult Continuing Education. Day trips are also a part of the program with spring trips planned to Foxwoods Casino and MGM Grand, Atlantic City Casinos, Stormville Flea Market, NYC Chinatown, and Nosh Around New York.
